Jonathan Seitler KC recognised in The Lawyer Hot 100 2022

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Seitler QC has been listed in The Lawyer Hot 100 2022!

The Lawyer’s write-up on Jonathan reads as follows:

“Jonathan Seitler QC stands at the forefront of property litigation at the Bar. Last year he was involved in two headline cases: Bank of New York Mellon v Cine UK and London Trocadero (2015) LLP v Picturehouse Cinemas. Billions of pounds of lockdown debt ride on the outcome of these cases as both go to the Court of Appeal this year.

Seitler was also instructed in the most high-profile case in the burgeoning area of litigation concerning telecoms in Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Limited v Ashloch, AP Wireless in the Court of Appeal. This month, he is appearing in the Supreme Court to debate the major legal issue arising under the new telecommunications code – which is whether the telecoms operators can immediately take the benefit of that Code. This will have a major impact on all such operators and therefore on their pricing tariffs for consumers across the UK.

As deputy head of Wilberforce Chambers Seitler is also closely involved in rewiring the Bar’s systems to reflect the need for greater diversity and equality of opportunity. He has made a difference in many ways, helping to open up pupillage opportunities and pushing for fair allocation of work at the Bar.”

The Lawyer says the members listed on their annual Hot 100 list “have two things in common; excellence and relevance”. To view the full list click here.
